Working at WellSpine was a horrible experience. From the start the other employees from different companies working in the same building have warn me about working here. Rosie the manager is a verbal abuse person that uses her employees. She does not pay when you put in your last two weeks. This place should not be having a manager that screams at not just her employees but different people from referrals or doctors that have sent patient to this establishment if they need help. She does not pay attention once patient need surgery she’s always screwing their surgery dates. Be aware if you want to work here.

I can not express how awesome Dr. Battle and his team is. After 6 long months of back issues and experiences, I was sent to the right doctor that I didn’t know would help me in many ways. From the moment I first walked in, everyone made me feel welcoming and warm, like family. The staff at well spine has, to this day, been so caring and welcoming. They made everything from booking the first appt to making sure I had everything I needed such a breeze. The staff is a huge reflection on how Dr. Battle is. He was very attentive and showed empathy of my situation. He made every moment feel like it was nothing to worry about and answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation and was patient with me when I was in worry at one point. Not only is he a well experienced neurosurgeon but also a caring person. If you are struggling with back pain/ issues I highly recommend to make a consultation and trust that they will do what is best for you not what is best for a doctors pocket. I am a very skeptical and untrusting person, especially when someone is going to work on my spine. But I’m glad I made the decision of having Dr. Battle perform surgery on me.

Dr. Batlle has been a wonderful physician for me. He has performed two back surgeries on me and TAKES HIS TIME WITH EVERY PATIENT!
I personally do not want my spine surgeon rushing his work whether that be in his office or on the surgical table. I have many doctors for this condition and he collaborates with all of them to get the problem correctly treated. It has taken a long time but he has never given up on me. I do not think most people like waiting to be seen but I personally understand he is simply trying to help as many as he competently can. I thank him for all the time he has given me.
His office staff are always courteous and do what they say they will. I rarely find this with any doctors office or company I deal with.

2 YEAR FOLLOW UP: Dr Francisco Batlle performed a 360 LL Fusion on me on 7/12/2016. No complications or relapses to this day. Limitations: Of course there are some because what used to be separate bones is one bone now (fusion). I don’t really know my limitations. But my back has given me a shout out, when I was there. I just back off of whatever I’m doing. I don’t do any lifting, beyond a case of water, and an occasional bear hug from my grandchildren. Aside from when I’ve reached my limit, sat too long, or stood too long, NO PAIN. (Sometimes we can hinder our recovery by doing things we aren’t well enough to do. I know everyone’s experience is different.)
I’m not back to running marathons yet, but I can run. I think that’s more of a confidence matter, than ability. If I had to do it all over again I would have skipped all the conservative treatment (shots and physical therapy), and got right to the surgery. No regrets. Dr Batlle was not the first doctor I saw, but he was the best choice I made.

Extremely disappointing experience. I made an appointment and was really hoping that finally I would get some relief from my back pain. Soon I received a letter confirming insurance coverage but as the appointment date approached, they called back to inform me that they no longer accept Medicare and even though I am covered with another good insurance they just would not trouble themselves billing Medicare first as required. Appointment cancelled.
Thanks a lot Dr Batlle.

Sad when you are told by the Dr. You will need surgery one day but lets hold off and see if pain management can work for a while then if it persist then we will get you in for surgery. Then they tell you a year later due to the date of injury we cant see you. A joke of a Dr a say

Best experience I have had hands down going to the Dr! Staff was extremely helpful, and I was in and out very fast and had all my questions answered. Turns out I had a pinched nerve and a bulging disk and they are getting me set up on the best plan so I can get all these issues fixed. Definitely would recommend to anyone! Dr. Battle is AWESOME.
