I have visited this place weekly for months, and sometimes even twice a week. Last Friday, I made an appointment with a particular stylist. Upon my arrival, Juju ( who is part owner, I learned after speaking to her husband Randy about my experience) the lady at the front, informed me that the stylist I chose was not available, so I had to see another stylist who had worked on my hair before, and I wasn't happy with her results. Regrettably, she was the only one free, so I had no choice but to go with her since I couldn't find another booking for that day. After washing my hair, she moves on to drying it and then styling it. I inquired about her plans for my hair, and she replied that she would curl it. I mentioned to her that she never inquired about my hair preferences. I demonstrated to her my desired outcome. After she finished, my hair looked nothing like the inspiration picture I had shown her. I didn't anticipate it to be identical, but it wasn't even remotely similar to the picture. As I was about to pay, Juju asked if I was satisfied with the service; I shared my disappointment regarding her hair styling and mentioned that it took too long. I requested Juju to inform me in advance if the person I booked changes, so I can choose whether to keep my appointment or cancel it. I wanted to inform you that I had another appointment at 6:30 PM, and I was going to be late for it since my previous appointment was set for 5 PM. I usually stay there for around 45 minutes to an hour. Juju then speaks louder, claiming that I lack appreciation. She asked me if I wanted to include a tip. I declined because I was unhappy with my service. She mentioned her intention to ban me since I declined to tip. I informed her that tips are not required. They show recognition for the services rendered. Tipping is not a requirement for us. She conveys to me that her employees are not compensated fairly for their hard work, and she asserts that my business is not necessary for her. For each appointment, I make sure to tip 18-20%. As you begin to visit regularly like I do, you develop connections with your stylist. Her employees and customers keep leaving because they are dissatisfied with her leadership. When employees leave without giving proper notice, it reflects poorly on the business. Keep in mind it was Friday and deserted. You depend on my business since Blo or dry bar never lacks customers. Be mindful and appreciative of the business you have Juju!

Really disappointed I booked the service so I wouldn’t have to blow out my hair for Christmas. I have extensions and booked the appointment for an extension blowout. When I got there the stylist kept telling me she was new, and I was her first extension client, which made me super nervous. Long story short, I left with a burnt scalp and my hair still damp. Wish they can tell you the level of stylist you’re booking on their site. I wouldn’t recommend based on my personal experience and wish I would’ve just done my hair at home. Saw other clients walk out with beautiful blowouts!

Ivette and The Hair Bar are completely amazing! I cannot recommend Ivette’s work enough. I have frizzy, curly, long hair, and she routinely makes my hair look BEAUTIFUL in a timely manner every time I see her. Not only that, my hair styles LAST FOR DAYS! Truly amazing. Thanks Ivette!

Everyone, from the person who took my information and made the appointment over the phone, to rest of the staff, was very friendly and professional. Rosa did my daughters hair for homecoming, and it was beautiful and just what she wanted. We will definitely be back!

Their customer service was amazing when it came to booking the appointment and the stylists who helped her made her even prettier! Thank you, thank you! Amazing part of an amazing day!!! Marbles did hair and make-up for my daughter's wedding party of 14. From Bride, MOB, MOG, bridesmaids, to little bitty flower girls, all were beautiful! Shout out to Brittani who did our daughter's hair. She was patient, flexible and took extra time to get it right! She even put her veil on her! Shout out to Jenny, who was patient with a nervous MOB! Scheduling early on with Kristin was great. This included a trial run back in November for the bride to see how her hair and make-up could/would look. This Marbles location is close to our church, so we had all services done there and then off to the church! I would highly recommend Marbles for your special event! They helped make our day calmer and get us ready for this wonderful event! Thank you!

2 stars due to partly my fault. Paid $155 for hair and full makeup. I assumed at these prices makeup would be airbrushed, it wasn’t. ‘Updo’ was…barely ok and definitely did not look ‘professional’. Literally the same style I do almost everyday at home but with 19 unnecessary bobby-pins. I should have researched further exactly what I would be getting for the money. Showered and did own hair and makeup as soon as I got home. 2 stars because the employees were sweet…just not the quality I expected for $155.
