Dr Banerjee sent me a letter stating that because I had Medicare she would no longer have me as a patient. I called the office manager, as soon as I received the letter (3 months ago) and asked her if I changed my insurance, would I be able to return. The answer was yes. I changed my insurance and now Transamerica is my primary insurance.

The first business day after the New Year holiday, I called Jackie, her very helpful, compassionate and lovely office manager. Jackie had my insurance verified. A few days later Jackie called to inform me that Dr Banerjee would not have me back as a patient because she said I was non compliant. This is absolutely false and inaccurate. I was on time for every appointment. I completed the blood work and imaging on the same days she ordered them throughout the years. I took Humeria as prescribed but had a horrible allergic reaction. Dr Banerjee looked at the hives on my arm and diagnosed me as allergic to Humeria. I had been a patient of hers for 5 plus years before I became disabled and got on Medicare. Switching to Medicare changed everything. She would not deal with Medicare. So….

As of today, even though she accepts my insurance, I no longer have a physician to treat my psoriatic arthritis. My symptoms are out of control and I have been very sick.
I have had 4 surgeries, 2 surgeries in the last 6 months. My orthopedic doctor, Dr Wood, said if I can start taking Stelara, the medication would stop this disease from attacking my joints.

Jackie explained to Dr Banerjee that it was my insurance that kept me from the office. In fact, the last time I saw Dr. Banerjee, I was so sick she gave me a sample shot of Stelara and we discussed that as soon as I changed insurance she would prescribe Stelara. I had to wait 3 months for open enrollment. I have been on the edge of my seat waiting to get back to Dr Banerjee. Each shot is $3,100.00………Medicare and Atena would not cover it. I could not afford to pay this amount. Now my new insurance will cover the medication, but Dr Banerjee kicked me out of her practice using the inaccurate excuse that I was non compliant. Jackie said she pleaded with her but Dr. Banerjee said no. Jackie said that I was compliant. She did everything she could to no avail.

My heart is broken. I’ve been so sick and in need of care. I’ve never had a problem following doctor’s orders, EVER. If she charts this false statement in my medical records I will report her to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. This is completely slanderous and falsifying information. Any doctor that would do this, should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Banerjee…. You were awful to me in my greatest time of need. I am so disturbed that you treated me this way.

Dr. Banerjee is wonderful and helped me through a medical condition that multiple (top dfw) doctors struggled to confirm. She is extremely sharp, comprehensive and direct. I am grateful for her and her staff. I dont know where in my recovery I would be without her

She is very intelligent, and professional.
To start the story, I came in because I was inform from my eye doctor I needed to check any issues that are causing of my redness. Last appointment seen with Dr.Pooja was wasteful and spent money for no reason. They made me wait for an hour straight just for 5 min conversation informing I am completely healthy. If this was going to be result, I would of rather they sent me an email or called me saying I am completely fine then me spending my time and money.
As well, called again because they refer me to different doctor, that 3 days later they still haven't fax my information.
Just unsatisfied my last visit.
But she did referred me to different doctor who could maybe help. So like I said, very kind, professional doctor. Just last visit I was upset.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Banerjee since 2008, when I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE, Sjogren’s and Fibromyalgia. I was scared to death of the diagnosis. Dr. Banerjee helped me to understand what I needed and didn’t need to do, in order to properly take care of myself. She follows me closely and is always available, when I have an issue. I always have an issue!!! I told her I have a son my very first visit and to date, she ask me how my son’s doing. She cares and she doesn’t rush me out of the office. I’m thankful for Dr. Banerjee and her staff.

Dr Banerjee literally changed my life when I walked into her office 10 years ago. I am able to be much more active and mobile now with much less pain. She took the time to actively listen to my story, asking the right questions, really getting a good history so she could order the correct tests to come to a diagnosis and start the right treatment. Thanks to her I can live a normal life without being a prisoner in my own body! Dr Banerjee shows her compassionate care for her patients by her dedication to improving her patients health and mobility which is something truly special.

I really want to give this place a glowing review because of how Dr. Banerjee has been able to help me, but my experience is tainted with a lot of just annoying and unprofessional aspects. For example, the office calls me all the time on the day before my appointment to change the time. This is very inconvenient, especially for working professionals that have a schedule to keep. Then when I accommodate them and actually get there 30 minutes or an hour earlier, they're not ready for me until my original appointment time anyway.

Dr. Banerjee is one of the most professional, kind-hearted, and brilliant physician I've ever had the privilege to meet. I was suffering from a serious condition that no other rheumatologist I visited was able to correctly diagnose. After just one visit with her, she identified my disease and was able to start the right treatment which has radically changed my life. In addition, her staff is also very professional and courteous.
