I’ve been seeing Dr Elwell for the last four years, she delivered my first and has been an amazing advocate and compassionate physician through subsequent infant loss and infertility. Her training is exemplary but more importantly she has mastered the art of both providing evidence based care with seeing each patient in their entirety. She values your overall wellness and considers your values and personal medical needs during every encounter. She is kind, compassionate and funny. Very down to earth in a way that puts you at ease. Somehow she manages all this while not running behind and making your time feel valued. Highly recommend her for everyone and in particular if you’re looking for someone to care for the whole you.

Dr. Kyler Elwell is AMAZING. I had interviewed two doctors previously and had really high expectations, Dr. Elwell is so SO smart, sweet, no ego, not jaded, totally and utterly concerned about you, your health, and your babies health. She went above and beyond for my pregnancy, I felt completely safe and comfortable under her care, it really felt like talking to a sister or friend every-time I saw her. I was diagnosed with polyhydramnios and she did not hesitate to bring in a specialist to add to our team to help bring this bundle of joy into the world safety and healthy. I recommend her to all my friends, family, and now to YOU whomever is reading this review. Choose Dr. Elwell, you won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Elwell is everything you want in your doctor - attentive, knowledgeable, balanced, supportive, and funny. She embraced my less-than-enthusiastic attitude in the first several weeks of my pregnancy and helped me truly enjoy my second and third trimesters + birth and postpartum. She gave me confidence in the medical process of the birth experience and supported/collaborated with my doula and suggestions along the way. My entire UTSW medical experience has been stellar.

Dr. Elwell has been my doctor for several years. I am on my 3rd high-risk pregnancy with her. She has gone way above and beyond the call of duty on my care! During my last pregnancy, she was in France on a family vacation and still woke up in the middle of the night to look at my chart and test results and provide her input to the attending doctors. Not only is she attentive and personable, but she is extremely knowledgeable. I trust her input and advice on my care implicitly. I could not recommend a doctor more highly than Dr. Elwell!!

I have been under the care of dr Elwell for over 5 years. She takes ample amount of time to carefully, thoughtfully and medically diagnosis any and every issue I’ve ever had. She’s the ONLY doctor I will ever trust in the prenatal care of me and my children and the delivery of my babies. Some doctors won’t spend time with patients that aren’t high risk, and since my pregnancies were all “normal” I could have gotten that treatment but I did not. Each appointment she checked thoroughly over both me and baby to ensure our safety and health. Aside from prenatal care, she has made time to treat and care for issues that have come up and always went out of her way to be knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I wouldn’t ever trust any other doctor!

I highly recommend Dr. Elwell. This is my first pregnancy after trying for 6 years. I initially chose another doctor, but didn’t feel we were communicating or connecting well. I changed to Dr. Elwell, based on reviews I read online, and I am so glad I did! She is very nice, funny l, and always smiling. You can tell she really cares about you and your baby. Do you and your baby a favor by choosing her during your pregnancy.
