I had a Mohs procedure on my eyelid by Dr. Weitzul and I was treated awesomely ~ if that’s a word! She & her assistant Natasha were very professional, compassionate & checked on me during the whole procedure. They put me at ease to calm my nerves.

The office & procedure room were clean and comfortable. A TV was in the room so the wait between procedures did not seem near as long.

I will recommend them to anyone needing to have a surgical dermatology procedure.

I was referred to this office for MOHS surgery on my face. When I called to schedule the surgery, I spoke with a woman (I think her name was Melissa) who very politely informed me that their office did not accept my insurance. Admittedly, I was flustered by this news and began asking questions about pricing with no insurance and explaining how it was difficult for me to find out who was covered by my insurance because their website is often incorrect. Melissa promptly answered my questions, reassured me, and gave me helpful information about my insurance WHEN SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO. Thank you!

Dr. Zeikus has the best mannerisms of any doctor I’ve encountered to date. I was nervous having my arm cut open to remove suspicious melanoma tissue. She spent time talking to me for as long as needed to explain my initial results from the derm, the overall procedure process, questions, and next steps. She always took her time and did not rush. She even talked to me during the procedure as a distraction; however, it was nice being able to watch a TV right in front of me. I’ve been to plenty of dermatologists, internists, and gynos over the years, so it meant a lot when meeting Dr. Zeikus as she stands out from the rest. Highly recommend!

Let me tell you this: I have had several MOHS surgeries performed by Dr. Zeikus. They were all completed in a superior way and with utmost professionalism. Furthermore, Dr. Zeikus is the most wonderful medical professional I have ever dealt with, and I am 72 years old. Her smile alone is disarming when approaching a surgical procedure. Her personality is off the charts! You will not be disappointed when dealing with her.

I was referred to Dr. Zeikus' office by my dermatologist after discovering that I had melanoma on my inner right knee. My initial experience with the front office staff at her office was terrible. I should've known at this point that I should look elsewhere, but I trusted my dermatologist's recommendation and I knew this was something I had to get taken care of.

Her front office staff was initially unable to tell me what exactly they were going to do to remove my melanoma, and they were also unable to tell me how much I would have to pay out of pocket. After "verifying" with my insurance company, they told me "the most I would be responsible for is $407.00". Dr. Zeikus' front office staff did not return calls as promised and for the first two phone calls her staff was not able to tell me exactly what the procedure would entail. This made me very nervous because the dermatologist that referred me to her office told me exactly what SHOULD take place.

I ended up sticking with my appointment and I want to make it very clear that Dr. Zeikus is hands down one of THE BEST doctors that I have ever been under the care of. She was very empathetic, explained everything very well, and even after the initial consultation gave me the option of going to a plastic surgeon instead. She also followed up with me from her personal cell phone the following night after my surgery to make sure that I was okay. Dr. Zeikus definitely went above and beyond to make sure that I was cared for and I appreciate the way that she treated me. The review is solely based on my experience with her front office staff.

After my follow-up appointment I was told by the front office staff that I would be receiving the full amount that I paid ($400.00) back. My surgery took place on July 28th, and I still have yet to see my refund in the mail. I have been given the runaround from her office staff for the past almost 90 days. If her front office staff would've verified my insurance properly I never would have had to pay my deductible as my insurance covered the procedure 100%. I have called her office at least four times to see the status of my refund, and was told last Monday that the check would definitely be cut and I would be getting it in the mail within a few days.

I cannot stress enough how great of a doctor Dr. Zeikus is. Just keep in mind that her front office staff is incompetent and you will have to jump through so many hoops to get anything accomplished.

I have used Dr. Zeikus for two Mohs surgeries. She was very attentive and did excellent work assuring the surgery site was cancer free before sewing it up. The surgical incisions are very smooth and barely noticeable. Both surgeries were in close proximity on my forearm.

Dr. Weitzul and her assistant Natasha were very professional, compassionate, and did a great job. The office was very nice and the procedure room was nice, clean, and comfortable. A TV was in the room so the wait between procedures did not seem near as long. The office phoned me the day after to check on me. I will recommend them to anyone needing to have a surgical dermatology procedure.
